The updates to the website, which is managed by the Ombudsman, come in the form of three online tutorials covering key consumer topics. The tutorials cover the topics of An Introduction to Privatehealth.gov.au, Your Health Choices and How to Compare Policies.
In addition to this, the Agreement Hospital Locator now provides a more user friendly map based interface making it easier for consumers to find agreement hospitals in their local area.
