PrivateHealth.gov.au was recently awarded ‘Best Comparison Site’ in the annual NetGuide Australian Web Awards for 2007. The website was developed and is managed by the Private Health Insurance Ombudsman (PHIO). The website was designed and is maintained by Human Solutions, the company contracted by the PHIO.

The 'Best Comparison Site' category recognises the site that provides the best comparison service and gives visitors enough information to make informed choices. The award referred to privatehealth.gov.au's ease of navigation, quality of content and design.

The NetGuide Australian Web Awards were awarded to sites in 20 categories including Google (best search site), Zazz (best online shopping site) and ninemsn Money (best finance site).

Websites are nominated by readers of the Australian NetGuide magazine, which is the country's top selling Internet magazine. Over 7000 nominations were received for the 2007 Awards.
